Old Home Day

Saturday, September 7, 2019

Amherst’s Old Home Day Festival is a celebration of all things Amherst, with walking tours around the Historic Village, vendors and crafts-people on The Green, active displays, games & events for residents of all ages planned throughout the day and ending in a festive dinner on the Green.

His Majesty’s Tenth Regiment of Foot reenactment group will be returning with music, marching, musket drills, an encampment and more of their incomparable depiction of daily life of a British soldier in the 18th century!

More information will be out this summer as we finalize the schedule for the day but for now, we hope you will save the date and follow the Historical Society of Amherst’s Facebook page for the latest news on all the events planned for the day!

All proceeds go towards the preservation and restoration of the Historical Society's Wigwam and Chapel museums.
