| Description |
These appear to be photographs of painted portraits. These two might be husband/wife. They are either ancestors of or associated with Anne Middleton Means. The photographs were produced at Whipple's studio where both William Gordon Means and Mrs. John Aiken (nee Mary Appleton) had their portraits taken. Could these be the portraits of David McGregor Means and Catherine Atherton Means? Or are they Aikens, or Appletons? |
