Writing on back: "Albert Atwood Rotch, born in Mont Vernon in 1840, died in 1892. He married Helen Reade Boylston, daughter of Edward D. Boylston, and joined his father-in-law in the Farmers' Cabinet newspaper and printing business. He was also a stock broker, and was town clerk of Amehrst and represented the town in the legislature."
