Printed by: Velox (diamonds in corners). Postmarked: None. Front caption: None. Rear caption: None. Writing on front: None. Writing on back: "Our new house--Old Manchester Road, Amherst, N. H. How do you like it? Helen." Addressed to: None. Susan Hoskins writes, "The Hildreth Homestead, Journey's End. The "Helen" on the back of the card is one Helen Baxter who purchased Journey's End on July 28, 1928. Therefore, the card must have been written about that time. We also have a tape made from an old film reel of Journey's End in 1942. Alos, a layout of the interior that was featured in The New Hampshire Sunday News from 1964." |
