Description |
Photographs from the Clark/Dodge collection.
Group of people. Possibly taken at the Dodge home in Mont Vernon.
From Ann Hodgman: Frances Clark is sitting on the left. My guess is that the woman standing on the porch (dark) is her mother Fannie Dodge Clark (William D. Clark). The woman in front, flanked by 2 boys, could be Clara Dodge Holt (Fred Holt) and her sons Vernon & Harland. The woman on the right could be Abigail Dodge Morgan (Ralph Morgan) with her daughters (holding) Jane and Catherine. Except for Malcolm Clark this would be all of 2 generations of the family of Henry and Laura Dodge in Mt. Vernon. Jane Morgan married Ed Walter and had 2 children: Nancy Walter Doherty and James Walter who married Sandra Lyons. We think Jane and Ed lived in the Morgan house in Mt. Vernon which may have been the Dodge homestead too. One or both of these children may be living in the area. |
