Record 388/911 Catalog Record Search Description  House at 11 Courthouse Road. Known as the Capt. Prior House, it housed the first Post Office in Amherst. This photo was taken after the house burned in 1920. Apparently it stood vacant for quite a while and was later restored as a bungalow style house.
