Description Photograph (c. 1914) of steel bridge that replaced the Poor Farm Bridge (formerly known as the Kendrick Bridge) at Souhegan River. This steel bridge, located just to the south of the original Kendrick Bridge where Boston Post Road has been straightened, is now (2003) a concrete bridge. The old wooden covered bridge is gone. It is now a steel foot bridge over the Souhegan River on the Souhegan Country Club golf course. Ponemah Road, Amherst, NH.
