On May 21, 2009 Mr. Ernie Barrett identified this photo as follows: The boat is my father's. The year is 1938 right after the hurricane. The boat was called "Betty Ann". My dad gave rides around the lake on Sunday's and any time Herb Wenzel Sr had an outing at the lake for the shoe or other factories from Manchester. I believe at this time Dad charge a dime for the ride. He continued doing this through 1941, and I remember he had to go up in the price to 25 cents in 1941. That was his last year, as the war came along and there wasn't gas for such activities.
