Record 835/911 Catalog Record Search Description  Gravestone of Captain Josiah Crosby (b. 1730, d. 1793) at the Elm Street cemetery in Milford, NH. Milford was created from a portion of Amherst in 1794, one year after Crosby's death. The inscription on the gravestone states, "Mementomori. ERECTED In memory of JOSIAH CROSBY Efq.r who Departed this life Oct.r 15th 1793 in the 63rd Year of his Age." Photographed by William Veillette in 2004.
