Description 
A fireplace tile depicting a Turkish merchant with his slave. This tile was made by the manufactory of John Sadler and Guy Green in Liverpool, England, between 1765 and c. 1775. Twenty-four Sadler & Green tiles in a variety of scenes originally surrounded the parlor fireplace opening in the Col. Robert Means House. The missing tiles are being restored by William and Tracy Veillette.
